Creating a Custom Aliens-Themed Arcade: A Tribute to My Father
Since childhood, my father and I bonded over space-themed movies like "Aliens," "2001: A Space Odyssey," "Star Wars," "The Last Starfighter," and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." These films fueled my dream of becoming an astronaut, a dream my father nurtured through our cinematic experiences.
Although I didn't become an astronaut, I cherish the memory of my father's favorite film, "Aliens." After he passed away, I felt compelled to create an arcade that honored his memory. A client who had previously commissioned a "Jurassic Park" arcade from me asked for another project, and I shared my idea of an "Aliens-themed arcade with him. He was touched by the story and decided to proceed with the project, feeling fortunate to own such a meaningful arcade.
Every aspect of the arcade was meticulously designed, from the custom graphics and LED buttons to the immersive "Aliens" theme. The project brought immense joy, serving as a tribute to my father and showcasing the creativity and dedication poured into this unique arcade. Thanks to my client Shane for his unwavering support and patience. This special arcade now stands as a testament to the bond shared with my father and the magic of personalized arcade creations.
